A Cat Leash May or May Not Work

by guestpost on January 25, 2010

A cat harness distributes the physical tension of a tugging leash among the stronger part of the body. The cat’s shoulders and torso are strong enough to bear the pressures of a leash. Training your cat to get accustomed to a cat leash should be done while she is young. Moreover, it should be made a positive experience. Treats and tidbits can be given to your cat when she responds well. Never push your cat beyond what she can do. Be patient if she does not live up to your expectations. After all she is not naturally designed to walk on a cat leash.
